Self-Pitying Louis C.K. Performed Announced Sets At Comedy Cellar As Protesters Stood Outside

Louis C.K.'s comeback attempt has mostly been contained to unannounced pop-ins at major comedy clubs around NYC over the last two months, sparking a lot of discussions about whether it's okay to surprise an audience with a controversial performer. But last night at the Comedy Cellar, for the first time since starting to perform again, C.K. was listed on a sign outside the club ahead of time announcing he would perform two sets that evening.
